Inside Amazon’s warehouse of books…

I don’t know, the third photo down makes me a little happy because the bookshelves look semi-normal, but most of them make me think of factory-farmed chickens… All those sterile yellow bins, steel shelves, employees working with dead-eyed efficiency… It’s a little bit nice to see that the book is still alive (look at the size of that warehouse), but is this any way for it to live? I’m going to post a bunch of photos of warm, cozy, friendly libraries to get rid of this icky feeling. And buy a bunch of books from independent bookstores.
