AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The answer to this question is: yes, forever yes. And no, tumblr, I don’t need to answer privately.

Guys, Kate is probably the most hilarious person on the Internet, if not the PLANET. And she is moving to Oakland and I am moving to Oakland (well, technically right now I’m moving to Berkeley, but that’s minutes from Oakland and I’m pretty sure I’ll end up in Oakland anyway) and I want to be her friend.

“Suddenly, with all the force of her female instinct, she was shoving him off. She wanted to be clear of him, and especially of his consciousness, his words, his obsession with himself, his endless treadmill obsession with himself, and his own words.” —D. H. Lawrence, Lady Chatterley’s Lover

distantheartbeats said: I don’t think I’m capable of having my books mixed with someone else’s.

This was definitely a huge step in my relationship, the mixing of the books. And honestly they’re not even all that mixed; I packed my own book boxes while he carefully and fastidiously packed his. The problem ended up being that some of his boxes needed an extra book or two in order to reach the level of packing perfection to which he aspires, so some of mine ended up with his.

I’m not sure I can wrap my head around the thought of mixing our books together on a shelf…
