My copy of Madame Bovary is pocket-size with a bright red cloth cover, golden pages, a red ribbon, and gold lettering on the spine. Added bonus: a small sailboat etched into the front cover! It’s worn and faded and dusty and some of the letters have been rubbed away. It’s beautiful.
