A year (or three) in reading
It’s been a good few years for reading. In 2009 I tried out David Foster Wallace, George Eliot, John Irving, Jane Smiley, and Zadie Smith. Definite where-have-you-been-all-my-life authors. Just got an important call. I start my dream job on Tuesday. I say “dream job” because it’s what I absolutely want to do, but I’m scared out of my mind that it will be too hard for me or I won’t be cut out for it.
